Trust of People (ToP), in collaboration with FINISH Mondial, is excited to announce the upcoming WASH Insight series- Policy Chapter on November 14th, 2024, in New Delhi. This event marks the first chapter in a series dedicated to exploring key aspects of Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene (WASH) from a policy perspective.
For the past 15 years, FM and ToP have been at the forefront of improving WASH systems across India and globally. From promoting financial inclusion to strengthening the supply chain for sanitation solutions, our integrated efforts have enabled over 20 lakh households to gain access to proper sanitation. As we reflect on our journey, we recognise the crucial role that policies have played—and continue to play—in shaping a sustainable WASH future.
This event will bring together policy experts, sector leaders, and stakeholders to discuss the evolution of WASH policies over the last decade and a half, the challenges and successes of open defecation-free (ODF) sustainability, innovations in toilet construction and retrofitting, and how microfinance has opened doors to inclusive sanitation solutions. We’ll also delve into the circular economy in sanitation, particularly the emerging role of FSM (faecal sludge Management) in ensuring sustainable WASH systems.
