Driving Climate-Smart Solutions: Trust Of People & NABSAMRUDDHI Finance launch Awareness Campaign.

Trust of People has signed an MOU with NABSAMRUDDHI Finance Limited, a subsidiary of NABARD, to conduct 40 awareness camps on climate-smart WASH solutions across seven states of India. The primary objective of these camps is to raise awareness among rural Microfinance clients regarding climate-resilient sanitation systems, water conservation and preservation solutions, as well as information on household and farm level solar pump systems.

The campaign was kick-started on 22nd March 2024, by Shri Shaji K.V. the honourable Chairman of NABARD, during the World Water Day function held at NABARD HQ. Shri Shaji K.V. expressed his support by giving a thumbs-up gesture. The inaugural camp took place on the same day in the Nadia district of West Bengal, with active participation from the local community. Dignitaries from the NABARD head office in Mumbai also attended the event virtually.
